Love is a Flame Book Review and Giveaway!!

Love Is A Flame: Stories of What Happens When Love Is Rekindled

Love is a Flame complied by James Stuart Bell is a wonderful book with forty three heart warming true life stories of how couples found ways to rekindle their marriage despite the difficulties in their lives.  These stories were honest and sometimes painful to read, but were always brought back to trusting and relying on God as the center of marriage.  Stories of adultery, pornography, unmet expectations, workaholism, illness and even death showed how much these couples needed to rely on God to show them the gift they had in their mate.  Each story ended with a short lesson by James Stuart Bell relating to the topic of that story.  Each story was unique and uplifting and every married couple would be able to find at least one that could match their situation.

I laughed, I cried, but most of all I was encouraged to rekindle love and romance in my marriage despite the hardships that we have faced.  I identified with many of the authors in this book and I felt that their candid stories were inspirational and hopeful.  I encourage everyone who is married to read this book and find ways as these people did to fan your love into flame.  It's worth it.

*This book was provided to me free of charge by Bethany House Publishers for purpose of this review. This is my honest opinion of this book and no monetary compensation was received for my opinion.*
